SINCE 1978

Celebrating 45 Years!

PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans was founded in 1978 by Phyllis Jordan, a pioneer in the coffee industry who embraced high-quality beans, superior roasting methods, and a pure passion for the art of coffee-making.  Her dedication to coffee quality remains the foundation of our roasting methods, which is done blocks from the famous French Quarter in New Orleans.

The Soul of Coffee

PJ’s Coffee utilizes only the best quality arabica coffee beans sourced from around the world. This gourmet coffee is small batch roasted in 300lbs or less by Roastmaster Felton Jones, who alone has over 25 years of experience with PJ’s Coffee.

PJ’s Coffee strives to deliver a unique coffee experience to all locations, regardless of if they are in the heart of our home city, or far-flung across the world. With one step in the door, you are greeted with the scent of our 100% Arabica beans, invoking the soul and unique experience of our original location on Maple Street.

Original Cold Brew

Iced coffee with cream

PJ's Original Cold Brew™ Iced Coffee is brewed daily using a special cold-drip process that protects the flavor and strength of the beans, while producing a coffee that is two-thirds less acidic – a practice PJ’s has implemented for over 30 years.

Our signature Cold Brew Iced Coffee is served with a splash of your favorite milk.

Rooted in New Orleans, we’re no stranger to hot temperatures which is why the PJ’s Coffee Granita was created.  This frozen drink is smooth in texture and full of flavor, featuring our Original Cold Brew Iced Coffee concentrate, simply syrup, and milk slowed blended together for a crystalline finish.  This signature staple of PJ’s Coffee is also available with rich chocolate or caramel.

Fresh Beignets

Beignets have a rich history in New Orleans dating back to the 18th century. The word "Beignet" itself is derived from the French term for "fritter." These deep-fried pastries are served hot with a dusting of powdered sugar.

A visit to New Orleans isn’t complete without a serving of Beignets paired with a good cup of coffee.  It’s our mission to bring this infamous NOLA treat to neighborhoods across the country that can be enjoyed anytime of the day.

We highly recommend pairing an order of Beignets with our signature Café au Lait, which features our Dark Roast brew with steamed milk.
